She became passionate about music (particularly the Irish tin whistle) at the age of 12 and started learning alongside her siblings by ear, studying the playing of some of Irish music’s finest. In 2012, the family along with some friends earned the title of All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil champions and hit the ground running with 7 successful years of touring. Those years included two Top 5 albums on the iTunes Pop Charts, sold out theaters across the U.S. and Ireland, multiple appearances on the TODAY Show, and over 65 appearances on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage.

While closing the chapter of touring with her family in 2017-18, Jet got the opportunity to start giving private music lessons and discovered her immense passion for teaching.  During that time, Jet married her sweetheart, Cory Piatt and started their own family in late 2019 with the birth of their daughter, Alice.  Since that time, Jet wanted to devote more time to her growing family and retired from teaching after 3 wonderful years.

Still passionate about sharing the gift of music however, Jet began to develop video courses to continue instructing those wanting to start their own whistle journey and was delighted to launch her first program in October of 2020 with wonderful success, followed by her second launch in January 2021.

Currently, Jet is thrilled to be transitioning back into private whistle lessons and is excited to share the love of music with others one-on-one once again!

Jet Piatt is a 25-year-old public figure, wife, mother, and musician who is passionate about life and sharing the gift of music with others! She was raised in middle Tennessee in a family of 12 siblings who rose to popularity through extensive touring as The Willis Clan, and various TV appearances including NBC’s America’s Got Talent (Season 9), TLC’s reality show The Willis Family, and more.
